Elara production, the plate making part of Elara, uses information from you press planning system to make plates with the right priority and with the correct, template based, furniture.
Automatically handling your page paired plates (up to 8-up) or panoramas plates makes the automation even more impressive. Version control includes bitmap. compare so that unchanged plates will not go out to the CtP again.
Load balancing
Closely communicating with your CtP devices, punch-benders and sorting, Elara will find the most efficient way to produce the newspapers in the fastest possible way whilst still keeping track of Plate-ordering. Each output position is flexible making various sorting schemes for day- and nighttime possible.

Your sorting device in full control of Elara, integrating.it into the Elara flow seamlessly. The Elara user-interface offers a real-time view to be displayed at your sorting units displaying the plates in the sorting bins and even detecting plates that are removed during production. This will help to reduce the time in between products printed.
Softproofing, on the press console or anywhere you like
Elara’s softproofing enables ICC-based softproofing (including monitor calibration and substrate colour emulation) to integrate with your press. Depending of the capabilities of your press-consoles Elara switches the softproof along with the page the operator is working on
